The Chair Person coordinates and oversees contact of a group of women from the parish to help to host church receptions. In the past these have been luncheons after funerals and special events, such as a visit from the bishop.  The group is also available to take meals to parishioners who are ill or need help.  Currently there is a list of about 40 helpers and 15 hostesses.  Time commitment is a couple of hours once or twice a year.
